Susno Must be Ready to be Named Suspect

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Former National Police chief detective Commissioner General Susno Duadji is again being investigated on the alleged case brokerage at National Police headquarters, Jakarta. Susno is being investigated by an independent team as a witness for 8 suspects getting involved in Gayus Halomoan Tambunan case.

"The probe starts at 10.00," said Police deputy spokesman Chief Comr. Zainuri Lubis at the headquarters, on Tuesday. Susno had a 7-hour investigation yesterday. Susno had investigators stop the probe after he answered 38 out of 40 questions prepared by them as he claimed of being exhausted.

Asked by reporters whether there is a probability that Susno's status levelled to be a suspect, Zainuri replied that it is going to based on the result of evaluation of investigation.

"Susno's replies will be evaluated. The probabilities are always there," said him.

One member of Susno's legal team, Muhammad Assegaf, said his client met the schedule of today's probe. "To answer the rest of questions and probably they will extend," said him when contacted by Kompas.com, Wednesday.

"There is no reason not to be ready," stated him when asked whether his client is ready if National Police gears up the status after the probe. (SAN)
